How the TRT maths works
Injectable testosterone is an oil solution labelled in milligrams per millilitre, so the calculation is a two-step conversion. First the weekly dose is split by how often you inject - a 140 mg week taken twice weekly is 70 mg per injection. Then the per-injection milligrams are divided by the vial concentration to get the millilitres to draw, and multiplied by 100 to read the units on a U-100 insulin syringe.
Injecting more often means a smaller volume each time for the same weekly total, which some people find more comfortable. The ester - cypionate, enanthate or propionate - does not change this arithmetic; only the milligrams-per-millilitre on the label matters here. Read that concentration off your own vial rather than assuming, as compounded and pharmacy products vary.

Does the ester (cypionate vs enanthate) change the calculation?
No. The volume to draw depends only on the concentration in mg/mL and your dose. The ester affects how the medicine behaves in the body, which is a matter for your prescriber, not the draw volume.
Why does injection frequency matter?
It splits the same weekly dose into smaller amounts. Twice-weekly halves the volume of a once-weekly injection; every-other-day splits it further still. The weekly total is unchanged - only the size of each draw differs.
What concentration should I enter?
Whatever is printed on your vial in mg/mL. Testosterone cypionate is often 200 mg/mL and enanthate 250 mg/mL, but 100 mg/mL and other strengths exist, so use your own label.
Which syringe do the units assume?
A U-100 insulin syringe by default, where 1 mL is 100 units. If you use a U-40 syringe, switch the toggle so the units match your barrel.
