0.5mL insulin syringes with ultra-fine 31G x 6mm needle - the smaller barrel makes low doses easy to measure accurately. Best for subcutaneous doses up to 0.5mL (50 units), where the finer markings give you more precision than a 1mL barrel. Same ultra-fine 31G needle as our 1mL syringe, just a shorter, narrower barrel.

• Ultra-fine 31G needle (0.26mm) - thin gauge for a small skin entry, with bore wide enough for both aqueous and oil-based medications
• 6mm needle length - suited to subcutaneous injection; for most adults a pinched skinfold or 45-degree angle keeps the needle in the subcutaneous layer
